Landscapes and gardens designed by Beth LaDove

I create landscapes shaped by climate, place, and the emotional life of the people who inhabit them. Every project begins with observing the land—its light, its moods, its quiet intelligence—and responding to what makes it singular. I do not work from a preconceived style, but from a sense of attunement: discovering and celebrating the true character of each site.

My deep relationship with plants allows me to craft gardens that feel atmospheric, grounded, and alive. The work ranges from intimate residential spaces in California to projects and collaborations in Mediterranean regions including Greece and Italy. Increasingly, my design practice sits alongside a growing body of site-responsive artistic work, shaped by the same attention to ecology, memory, and place.

Every garden and landscape experience I create is thoughtful, personal, and one-of-a-kind. For more info…
